Terrible chemical smell

The mattress is nice and soft but there is a horrible/strong chemical smell that hasn't gone away. We pulled up a sheet and I can still smell him throughout the room. My daughter's bed smells so bad now... not good!

It was an amazing purchase for us

We have had to spend a lot of time traveling over the last few months and I was uncomfortable knowing that our 19 month olds have to sleep and play in a pack for weeks. That's great. She sleeps on a Newton mattress, just like at home. We even packed it in suitcases and flew with it on our travels.

Perfect for my spoiled child.

My daughter looks like a princess on a pea. She goes to my aunt's house once a week and she will NOT sleep and play in a bag. She would just scream. Note that we are very good at sleeping alone in her crib! I ordered this for fun. Now she sleeps my aunt twice a day for 1.5-2 hours!

Perfect for Pack and Play

Bought this mattress for my granddaughter who was visiting. Perfect fit for normal Pack and Play size. She slept well and the mattress supported an 18-month-old, 37-inch, 30-pound toddler. (Tall like her dad is 6ft 4in!) The mattress was thicker and softer than expected. Fits full size pack and play sheets and waterproof mattress pads.

Surprised how bad it is

I was really surprised at how bad this mattress was given the good reviews! It was smaller than the play pack despite being advertised as the same size, one side of the mattress is higher than the rest, when I tried to put a sheet on it it curled up no matter which side I put It's too soft for a baby to sleep in and much thinner than advertised. Very disappointed :(

Serves its purpose as bedding

I had to replace my baby backpack because the mat that came with it was very cheaply made. I decided to order a mattress for this new one we received and this seems to be working, my baby hasn't been on it yet but I air it outside because the smell was very strong. I only wore it for about 20 minutes or so and it already smelled better. I also sprayed Lysol. It is very soft and pleasant to the touch.
