I bought these for my 4 year old when we went to the beach. They protected his legs great, but of course there was sand in them. He also used them in the backyard for the pool which worked great. Let me just say that he has had these water shoes for over a year and used them often. They were still in great shape and looked great. You wash well. We gave these to a friend and will be ordering more for him. I highly recommend them. You are worth your money!

My grandson has a hard time putting them on, the hole could be a little bigger. Although worn once, they feel comfortable.

Although my son likes to shuffle his feet and drag his toes when riding his bike, they held up surprisingly well.
