A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I used it only in bridge mode, I can’t say anything about the router. As an AP, it is a very basic device, allows you to create two networks (2.4GHz and 5GHz), optionally separate control and data into different vlans, and configure a network interface for management. No problem powered by passive poe from Mikrotik switch. POE passthrough is optional, can be turned off. In bridge mode, all four interfaces can be used to connect to ethernet. There is a white backlight, which can also be turned

Pros
  • A simple access point with a gigabit switch, powered by POE.

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

If you are a fan of Mikrotik with a bunch of settings, then this router is not for you. We have been using Ubiquiti industrial routers in warehouses for a long time, there are no problems, a decent company. It is very pleasant that the manufacturer has entered the "home" market. Great replacement for Apple AirPort. There is a more expensive model (2 times!) in white with a round touch screen. In my opinion, the "price-quality" behind the black cube.

Pros
  • A black cube and nothing more, at night "Malevich's black square", no lanterns. Looks solid and expensive. The lower illumination of the cube perimeter is disabled in the settings. Configuration from the web interface or from a mobile device. Very easy to set up, does not heat up during operation. 2 bands (2.4 and 5GHz). Power adjustment in settings. New settings are regularly added to the firmware.
Cons
  • Not revealed yet. No, there is still one drawback - you can clearly see the dust on the top face of the cube.

Dull electronics in computers and accessories

I think if you live in your mother's basement and play with networking gear all day, then this device should be for you. It's downright silly to connect it to an existing network and then access it with a phone app to set it up. Should be able to connect the register to my laptop and do all the necessary administrative tasks. After prolonged use, this item was flawless. I think if you can get past the initial setup then you really have something

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

I started with only 1 now I have 3

Not bad apparatchik. It can glitch from time to time and I've had to reboot once or twice. However, they are flexible. I have UNMS just for fun because I also have ER-4 and ES-8-150W. I've moved from a wired home to a WiFi-only home. I originally got the Aircube as a single access point (instead of the old Zyxel) just because it integrates with UNMS. After a few months my wife started complaining about the wifi in the bedroom because of some devices. Okay, take another Aircube and plug it in…

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Not bad

Easy to set up, phone app required. Excellent Wi-Fi signal.

Another reviewer seems to have decided that everyone with an ethernet connected laptop wants to configure and his entire review seems to be based on that. (My laptop doesn't even have wired ethernet, your next one might not either. Just saying) It takes about 5 minutes to fully install if you're using it as a Wi-Fi replacement for the relatively poor Wi-Fi that most ISPs provide you with with your cable modem or your dsl modem. You disable WiFi on your existing router, use that WiFi instead…

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
