Hampton Bay Fan Remote Receiver was easy to install if you had electrical experience. Worked great and was an exact replacement for the previous receiver.

Relatively easy to assemble with two adults. An exact replacement for the original. To work you need a Phillips screwdriver. Be sure to line up the frequency dip switch with your remote's dip switch template so you don't have to do it twice like I did. LAUGH OUT LOUD

The receiver was exactly what was advertised and I needed a replacement. If you can remove the faulty defective receiver from your fan, you can install this replacement. and save yourself another new fan. Just remember to turn off the power before you start work.

Finally installed in my 10 year old Hampton Bay ceiling fan. The receiver corresponded exactly to the regular yellow. The remote control settings have even been set to the same as the original. It was a quick replacement. Keep this in mind when purchasing, there is now a delay for the light. With the old receiver, the light came on as soon as I turned on the switch.
