Excellent bearings but self centering system could use improvement

I am an official engineering student and inventor, designer and designer. They're great for the gym and other equipment, but the self-centering feature is my only complaint. A set screw can and should be added to lock the bearings in place once they are at the correct angle. Now I can and will add it myself, but some already seem to have a locking mechanism until you put a lot of force on them, and that's just the tight fit some come from the factory with. I played around with the pin sticking…
