🔸 UEETEK Hook and Loop Sanding Discs - 50 Pack of 5 Inch Round Shape Sandpaper (40 Grit, 8 Hole) Review

This wheel cut my project time in half due to its roughness and because I didn't have to change wheels as often as other wheels I've tried. Worth the price!

They are a bit small compared to other pads and have a very short lifespan. The HomeDepot brand lasts twice as long and the Tigershark brand about five times longer. My use case was to grind a patch of cedar logs.

Compared to how much you get in a package for the money, good value. Discs don't have long edge life. Velcro is great, holds up well. Would I buy again, definitely. Buying 50 for $20 instead of 5 for $10 is no problem.

Used these pads to sand down the outside of the cedar siding after 50 years when the paint should have come off when I removed the vinyl siding. Worked great, very durable. They all have holes for a grinder so you can use a shop vacuum; I have not used this function.

You get what you pay for. 40 grit abrasive and an inferior 60 grit feel. Due to the lack of abrasive, it takes longer to sand. Almost messed up my disc sander with bad velcro that keeps displacing the sandpaper. Maybe good for the occasional homeowner, but not for professionals.

Compared to the Gator brand this is a great price for 50 pack. which lose their effectiveness after a few minutes. This paper appears to resist abrasion even after being hit by a nail or staple. The flocking also seems to hold with the hook and the fixing discs - don't forget the slicker! Overall, I definitely recommend this product.

The ad said "UEEETEK brand" but the discs said "GANG YING". I have a new velcro that grips other brands very hard. These disks fly off when the grinder starts turning, no matter how hard you press or tap the disk in place. The previous brand of disc I used was also 1/8" larger. These discs barely cover the pad. Also, 40 grit is more like 60 grit. Unfortunately I didn't do that. I didn't try them until I had them for 3 months so they are hand sharpening only Very disappointing.

After more than a year of use, I would like to give a review. The grit and cut of these discs are good, but the problem was base retention. Initial grip is good, but after grinding uneven surfaces like a cane, after a few minutes the pad detaches and flies away. It sticks, but flies off right away. This is unlike other discs I've had from other suppliers that never lose grip on the pad even when the grain is completely worn out. As a result, I have about half or less time with these drives…

Firstly I didn't get anything for the review, I feel the need to add this because people often leave good reviews in exchange for a free product. To be honest I didn't have much of this sandpaper but thought I'd give it a try for the price. 9 times out of 10 I use the Gator brand, which I like, but where I use a lot of sandpaper I wanted to try a more economical approach.
