I had them for about 1 year and everything was fine and then the plastic cover under the fork broke causing intermittent sparks. I assumed it was bad gas because it started right after filling up at a "dodgy" gas station, but it turned out to be one of the coil packs. . does the job best - a 6th Honda V6 and a *huge* power upgrade. but you need to extend the pigtail and solder 4 wires (no big deal) to extend it far enough to get to the connection. but you will be very glad you did. I estimate that the new alternator was 20% more sensitive than the original unit and I even bought a replacement Honda Odyssey alternator.
