Doesn't work with Dex Station + Samsung Galaxy S9

I was hoping to use this to connect my Samsung Galaxy S9 to Dex Station (because the phone's USB-C port doesn't have enough room to fit in the case of a phone to connect to it) but unfortunately it doesn't work. The phone charges but the Dex desktop feature doesn't start when you plug it in. i give it back

Works with Dex

Purchased for use with Samsung DEXstation. I'm tired of taking my phone out of the case all the time. Although I probably didn't have to buy it for that long, it allows me to use some of the camera's features in DEX mode. The only downside is that with a protective case, the fan in the DEX can't cool either, but I haven't found that this could be an overheating issue. Works great with Samsung Galaxy S8.

Cable works as advertised

UPDATE: After re-evaluating the cable, I connected it directly between the AC adapter and the MacBookPro and it worked. Power -> Dock -> MacBookPro) and that worked too. I don't know if there was dirt on the cable initially, if there was a bad contact (it was a brand new MBP), but now I'm very happy with this cable. Does what it should: load data etc.

Not for USB 2 over USB-C hub

Description says it fits a USB-C hub but doesn't mention if that hub has multiple USB-A ports (most have) , You cannot use USB 2 devices if the hub goes to the computer through this extension. Unfortunately, my USB-C hub also has an SD card reader that needs to be plugged in internally as a USB-2 device, as my SD cards are also inaccessible unless I plug the hub directly into it. But I suspect their sales would suffer if they listed everything their product can't do.

CC couldn't be better

I needed a CC and it was perfect as there are tons of c-to-usb a 3.0 cables on the market. There is no drop in speed from C to C and I can plug in my C hubs and use them for data transfer and charging. You need an extension cable for 90% hubs because native cables are several inches long and really put your desktop devices in a real dilemma. This extender solves that problem and more. Portability is good, but what if the user wants to connect the hub to a desktop computer instead of a laptop…

Suitable for LG UltraFine Monitor + Mac Mini / GoPro / DJI Osmo Pocket

Use this cable to connect my Mac Mini to one of my LG UltraFine 21" (4k) monitors. I often switch between MacBooks and mini and wanted to be able to share one of my screens with a macbook but didn't want to keep digging for the mini.This cable is perfect for this and is the right length.I've also used it to connect the input to my GoPro Hero 7 and my DJI Osmo Pocket as I wanted to move the mic input further away and that worked well too.. Suitable for LG UltraFine Monitor + Mac Mini / GoPro / DJI Osmo Pocket

Use this cable to connect my Mac Mini to one of my LG UltraFine 21" (4k) monitors. I don't want to be constantly fumbling with the mini. This cable is perfect and the right length for the microphone Entrance is far away and for that it worked well.. I will probably order a second one, just have it on hand, it's handy.

Works well with USB-C Hub for MBP

I have a 16-inch Macbook Pro for work that I connect to an Anker USB-C hub (model # A8346). The hub has a very small built in cable that is not detachable so I had to lengthen it. This cable seems to be doing a great job so far. GREAT CABLE - Know your limits with TBT3

Too much misinformation and confusion on TBT3 (Thunderbolt 3) device reviews. To be honest, I don't think the general public is aware of the potential of TBT3, otherwise more people would be interested.
