I bought this for my headset to split the audio and mic in two to use without a USB adapter. This is a Hyperx Cloud 2 headset and it works great. I also use a headset extender to reach the back of my computer. Works perfectly! Audio and microphone are recognized and working properly.

So I need it to play online games on my homemade desktop computer and I'm very happy with the sound quality. No static or fixed connections. If you need this type of connection, look no further, you will be delighted with your purchase. I used them for a few months before writing this review so I expect they will last a lot longer. Well, first I had a problem when I connected the cable, there was a loud noise. After a lot of searching in my settings I found an option to mute your microphone and for some reason it was at maximum volume. In the sound settings, look for something that says +db, turn that down to 10 and you're spot on. The cable itself is great! Does exactly what it's supposed to do as long as your settings don't interfere.

I used these to connect my PS4 headset to my desktop computer. The headset only had one cable output that carried the microphone and headphone signal, so this splitter allowed me to split the signal into separate headphone and microphone jacks that I connected to my computer. The quality is excellent and I haven't heard any glitches or interference. experience no loss of sound. The price is a bit high but given the quality and functionality this is a great product.

I bought this splitter for my laptop which has separate headphone and microphone ports. The headphone jack itself doesn't accept a microphone input, so consider such a product if you plan to use headphones with a microphone but only a headphone jack. I had no problems with this particular product. The assembly looks solid: the metal parts are carefully finished, the cable is braided. I probably wouldn't recommend excessive bending, but it goes without saying.

I expected this to work but the situation is that only audio output works, not audio input. The desktop can't detect it like any microphone.
