Ultra Flex Clear Vue PVC Hose Review

This is a well built hose that has performed well in my shop. Mates well with standard dust collector and explosion suppressor fittings and does not appear to fold when a vacuum is used. It is very easy to cut to the desired length with a box cutter and wire cutters. It's thick and seems sturdy and strong. I used about 30 inches of all of this and will buy more in the future if needed. Definitely better quality than Harbor Freight. Not as expensive as woodcraft. Good value for money.

It seems that it can be good if it is installed in a stationary dust collector. Mine came in very bad condition. Many of the ribs were deformed and their sections assumed a teardrop shape. There were also several holes through which the friction of the deformed part rubbed. Both factors obviously have a negative impact on the performance of the dust collector. I've been using a woodcraft hose for 5 years and finally it's time to replace it. This hose was about 2/3 cheaper than the Woodcraft hose and it's a pretty good hose for the price but not as thick and strong as the other. I took two and have been using them for about 5 weeks now. One connects directly to the table saw from the dust collector, and the second hose moves between several different tools as needed. This hose is already showing some signs of wear on the end that connects to the tools

Bought this for my ferrets to play with. It is MUCH stronger and longer than Marshal ferret tubes. However, it smells VERY strong. Reminds me of pools I've bought in the past. I'm concerned about odor and ventilation since it's such a long tube. I washed it right away and hung it out to dry. It seemed to help a little, but not much.
