I bought the ultra cam version and I have no complaints. It is well made and the material seems to be quite high quality. EDIT: Based on my positive experience with the ultra camera version of this hat, I bought this hat in black. Again, the material is good, but the score is a bit crooked here. It doesn't bother me too much, but I have to be aware of it.

Contrary to the positive reviews, I wasn't thrilled. The hat was $8.99, a dollar or two more than the camouflage/non-mesh caps on the Walmart counter. Less expensive Walmart hats are made from materials that are almost twice as thick and stronger. The same goes for the cheapest Rothco hats: they are even heavier and thicker than these. I ordered the snake camouflage and the colors have completely faded even though the hat is brand new.

This Woodland MARPAT style cap is well made. I did notice a few sewing errors but not enough to cause problems, mostly loose thread. Sample. This is a ripstop fabric. That way I know I'll wear the fabric by the brim with constant use (I did the same thing with my USMC-issued cap, which was a ripstop). For what I paid, less than $5, it's a great value and I wasn't expecting a flawless product at this price point.

Pro: Polyester/cotton blend, some people like that blend. Not as comfortable as my full cotton hats. Polyester should help extend life: It's not 100% cotton, so it's not as comfortable as pure cotton. Hard out of the box, bottom line seems good. The stitching looks good, I hope it will soften after using it for a long time.

For $8.99 this is a really good hat. A few questions. The front patch is crooked and the main problem is the crooked bill. To be honest I wasn't expecting anything perfect so I'm not surprised but it would be nice if the bill was attached to the hat correctly. I probably wouldn't go this route again, but it only works for the hat toss.
