UM Cable Heavy Anti Theft Bicycle Review

The lock is tough but thats about it. The cable kinks easily and is difficult to fold for storage. Through trial and error, I found that it's not worth the hassle .The seller boasted that it was perfect for Sports and Outdoors, but it's not even good for storage in my garage. A complete disappointment..

This lock failed to protect my bike from theft .The cable broke and my bike was stolen. It's frustrating because the lock seemed sturdy and durable. The only pro is that it's easy to lock and unlock. However, the cons outweigh the pros as it couldnt do what it was intended to do. I do not recommend this product for anyone who values their bike or their investment in Sports and Outdoors equipment..

This is a decent lock but the cable itself is flimsy in the tube. When you take it out of the box, it will look fat like an animal at first, but you see PVC. On closer inspection, that's a bit disappointing. It's good enough for the price. I bought it as an extra padlock anyway and it will do the job well enough. Combine it with a high quality U lock and your gold. The thickness alone should deter beginners.
