Great but a size too big - Active

I received this shirt as a gift a few years ago and it was large and fits perfectly, although I'm average height and when a little too big sometimes already is small. never big Even for a compression shirt, the large fits very snugly and snugly. I'm athletically built and the taller fits like a glove - in a good way it fits. If I had no experience with this shirt I would never have bought a bigger one. So I would take one size bigger than your normal size. Also, this shirt is great. Durable as…

Excellent quality, fits well, I advise you to buy a size smaller than usual

We bought this for my husband to wear under his polo at work. Under Armor is a really good brand, but buying this brand in-store tends to be more expensive than what we paid for it online. We ordered medium and large as we weren't sure which size he liked (fits) best. He wears a large shirt, but after trying on both the large shirt and the medium shirt, he decides he likes the medium shirt better. By that I mean that while both sizes fit him, he likes how the medium gives him more compression…

Not good old UA for clothing

Overall, I'm disappointed with how UA compression has changed recently, ditching the once-signature glossy and ultra-smooth material in favor of new items that feel more like cotton . But this shirt in particular is a failure because the seams are so pronounced. As soon as I put it on, I could feel where the greasy seams touched my skin. I haven't trained in it yet and haven't tried it under my shoulder pads to know if it leaks or chafes, but wearing it just standing up I can say the stitching…

Worth the extra money for a quality product!

I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. I've used cheaper base layer materials when cycling in the past and found that they don't compress, absorb and dry quickly very well. Until I found Under Armor. Your products are just amazing. The compression works well and keeps its shape for YEARS. I'm still wearing the shirts I bought in 2013, the compression hasn't changed! When measuring I get one size smaller than the size I wear in a standard t-shirt (I'm XL but I can fit in L). It helps me

*Revised rating downgraded to 2 stars (from 5) -- Shirt tears and rubs

[UPDATE] I've swum laps in this shirt half a dozen times. The lower edge is torn (you can see the photo of protruding threads), two stars are folded. The situation worsens (the hem comes undone) and the shirt soon becomes unwearable. I'm starting to wonder if this is genuine Under Armor - other UA products I've had haven't had similar issues. Another reason for the downgrading of 5 stars is that this shirt unfortunately chafes. The seam around the cuffs of the short sleeves rubs against the…

Not the same as before, but still the best of what was

Ok - follow the format of my typical posts UA: Well, getting that part out of the way. When UA first released and became popular in the US, their clothes were HIGH QUALITY. Their stitching was incisive, their quality control was amazing, their materials bled to the touch, and it took me 5 years to finally put on and take off all of my running gear. I was impressed. The price hasn't come down right now, but I'll be impressed if this compression shirt and my 3 new pairs of running shorts survive…
