Rides up and quite hot

I was hoping these would solve the very problem they were created for: thigh chafing. I do a lot of walking in the summer in New England and love to wear dresses. I ordered the ones in my size (based on size chart) and they ride up all day. I'm constantly having to duck behind a door to yank them down out of my crotch. The Undersummers site says to get a larger size if they ride up. I later ordered the longer ones that touch my knee, and in the next size up. These don't ride up, but not sure if

Pros
  • Made with high-quality, breathable materials for maximum comfort
Cons
  • May lose elasticity over time

Cool & comfortable good for me

These fit great. They are super comfortable and keep me cool & prevent my thighs sticking together under dresses in the summer

Pros
  • Too small
Cons
  • Might not fit properly

So comfortable!: my feedback

I am a 2X, and these are so soft and light. Perfect for the hot North Carolina summer - but they still offer protection from chafing and my toddler exposing me to the world when she lifts my skirt up. I have about 4 pair!

Pros
  • Can be easily washed and dried for convenient care
Cons
  • May not be suitable for formal occasions

Perfect to wear under dresses.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Non compressing and comfortable. Gives you the protection you need to avoid thigh chaffing. 5 stars!

Pros
  • Lingerie, Sleep & Lounge
Cons
  • Can add unwanted bulk

Incredibly comfortable

I was wearing bike shorts under skirts/dresses and didn't think I needed something like this. Then I tried it and it is so comfortable. It's cool and light, doesn't ride up or shift around, and works perfectly to prevent chafing. It's expensive, but completely worth it.

Pros
  • These make living in the Heat and humidity so much more comfortable!
Cons
  • Can cause bulges

Wish they didn't ride up

Comfortable and does the job but I would've given 5 stars if the edges stayed in place instead of riding up my thigh. I'm trying the ones with the lace edge next time to see if they will keep in place

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable and convenient solution that won't disrupt your daily routine
Cons
  • Can be difficult to find in stores

Coverage without compression

These were great for a wedding! Undetectable under a flowy bridesmaids gown, and so comfortable. They are really long - I don’t know how much use I’ll get out of them if I’m not wearing a floor length gown, since I think they’ll show when I sit. They run a bit on the large side. I am a 16-18 and the XL fit perfectly

Pros
  • Lingerie
Cons
  • Can show through clothing

One of the Favorite Things I Have Purchased

I am writing my review for Undersummers Classic Shortlette. I read through ALL of the reviews and found a mixed bag of reviews, with some saying they make noise when you walk, they ride up or they fall down at the waist. By far though, it seems many people liked them so i decided to try them also. And because sizes are so different I will use mine as reference. I am 5'3 and 190 lbs with large thigns and butt. I thought for sure the 2x would fit but it is too large---fits loosely and therefore…

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable and convenient solution for thigh chafing
Cons
  • Not very attractive

First, I ordered this particular shortlette because in the image it shows the top hits below the belly button. Most others I have ordered in the past have all been above the belly button and that is just uncomfortable with most modern day clothing. Unfortunately what I received is a good 1-2 inches ABOVE the belly button, so don't be fooled by the image. Second, I ordered the Classic Shortlett, but received the Lace Shortlett instead. I really DIDN'T want the lace shortlette as the lace…

Pros
  • Increases comfort during long periods of sitting, walking or standing
Cons
  • Can cause skin irritation from rubbing

Not the sexiest, but definitely the most comfortable

I bought these on an extended trip to the middle east. 2 weeks into the trip, I started having the worst thigh chafe due to 120 degree temps and my pants being wet from all the sweat. Baby powder and body glide help, but in this heat I needed to add a cloth barrier. Well, let me tell you- these work! I bought some other long underwear and leggings, and these were the best in every way. They do tend to ride up a bit, but not past the area of chafing. Not only did they stop the chafe and help…

Pros
  • Thigh Slimmers
Cons
  • Not suitable for all body types

Pretty Good: my feedback

So far, these are OK. The good: they are thin enough to fit under skirts without adding bulk. They do indeed prevent chafing. They aren't too long (they it about mid-thigh on me). The not-so-good: the stitching is fairly terrible. It looks like something I did. Very long tails were left at the end of messy backstitching. Not something I'd expect for the price. Also, they're kinda hot. I live in South Texas and it didn't even get up to 80 degrees yesterday, but they were uncomfortably warm. I…

Pros
  • Great for wearing during exercise or other physical activities
Cons
  • Difficult to put on and take off

I have thighs that make wearing skirts impossible. I have been looking for something to wear that is easy and comfortable. I have tried a lot of products and most are made to hide and I didn’t need the tightness I wanted comfort. That is what I got with these. They go to my waist and not up and over my belly. They stay in place and just all around are comfortable. Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Women
Cons
  • May roll down
