I have bought these before and will buy them again. They are durable and work well. This one was a replacement because I had lost the remote for one. The LED on the device is bright enough to see clearly even in daylight.

Needed to turn my pond filtration system on or off. Tried to buy an extension cord with an outdoor switch, out of stock. Bought this instead, works perfectly. Keep it in a box in the cave and don't forget to take it with you when it's time to backwash. This means I don't have to unplug the cord every time I need to turn it off. I would still prefer a cable with a built in switch for outdoor use.

Works well. I hooked it up to a 50 foot cord stretched across my deck and this is how I use it to turn the lights on and off around the house. Much easier than plugging and unplugging a string of lights, especially when I'm already in my pajamas and it's raining outside. The remote works well when standing indoors and close enough (20ft). Just great. Love the fact that the plug is L type which is a plus because I wanted to use it for my backyard lighting and the outlet is next to the door and didn't want anything sticking out. The remote works so far so good!
