Don't go out in the rain to turn off the deck lights.
Works well. I hooked it up to a 50 foot cord stretched across my deck and this is how I use it to turn the lights on and off around the house. Much easier than plugging and unplugging a string of lights, especially when I'm already in my pajamas and it's raining outside. The remote works well when standing indoors and close enough (20ft). I wish it had a little more power to go through walls, but it suits my needs. Also (in my dreams) I wish I could buy several of these and tune them to different or the same frequencies as needed.
