They are great, they replaced leaky bulkhead fittings and have not leaked since. You have to make an effort to get them together, but they're great when they're there. Make sure you drill the right size hole, they may seem tight but that's why they work.

These pads are perfect. I used them to replace the aging seals on my rain barrels. With some soapy water they landed in the rain barrel and my 3/4" PVC pipes slid in easily. No silicone or other sealant required. They are inherently waterproof. Very pleased.

3 stars because I've only used these tank adapters once and it could be user error on my part, but the leak happened anyway. They were used to make troughs for pigs. I applied JB WaterWeld inside and out to stop leaks. I can also buy and try larger 1" tank adapters as they are relatively cheap.
