I like this lamp. Anything else like this costs around $400, so I decided to take a chance and see how it was. We have low ceilings so I was a bit worried. My husband took some limbs so it sits fairly close but we haven't even adjusted the hanging lights yet. I think we could end up taking a little but it's very easy to do. Definitely recommend this product.

I'm in love with this lantern! Easy to assemble, durable, very well made! Thick and high-quality beam made of real wood, like chains. We made the links shorter as they hang over the dining table. We have 7 limbs on each side hanging from an 8 foot ceiling. We have a dimmer installed but we also use Amber Edison bulbs so a dimmer is not required. Installed above the new bar in the kitchen. It has a sloping ceiling so had to adjust the level by taking out a few links in the chain but it still needed to be raised so I had to take out the links on either side and hide the extra cable but it was a lot simple and the plugged-in cable is not visible from the "user" point of view in the room. I had a hard time installing it. The bracket that attaches to the electrical box is a versatile device. It is not made specifically for the device. You should also have an electrical box that mounts flush to the ceiling. Not me. I installed a light in a basement with a bare ceiling. I installed the light on a flat box that was attached to the circuit board. The bolts were too long and I had to add a second set of nuts to shorten the bolts.
