🔬 United Scientific OBSET2 NS Optical Kit - No Scope Review

This industrial-grade optical set provided me with crystal-clear images that allowed my students to easily distinguish between different specimens. The lenses were easy to attach and provided a high level of magnification. The set is incredibly durable and can withstand regular use. However, the price point is a bit higher than other similar products on the market.

If you have a modern metal metric stick, it's too thin for element clamps. Difficult to find good quality (thicker) wooden sticks. I ended up using wood shavings wrapped in duct tape.

This box contains lens, screen and rod candle mounts. The lamps have the charm of clothespins. The chandelier looks especially ridiculous with a candle, which reminds me of candles on a Christmas tree. Ruler holders are useless if you don't have a ruler that fits the holders exactly. I found it easier to make wooden holders that would fit the measuring stick (not included) and hold it securely in place.
