Not for fan cover without modification

Very good quality, nice and heavy. Not the way to sort the fan (my fault for not reading the description). I had to change it by drilling a hole in it. Looks great now! Does not let in drafts.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Uncertain

What spare parts and accessories are there

The chimney is what it is. but man, this is really boring to watch. I searched and searched for something more modern and clean - or even a nice bright white color - but I had to settle for that. It's not expensive, but there's not much to see either.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Easy to use, good fit.

We have an unusually sized pipe hole in our wall and this panel just covered it. Bending the pins to fit was easy and only required one adjustment after the first bend. Looks way better than a hole in the wall filled with insulation! The coating has a slight sheen (should be enamel).

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • It's fine

Corresponds to the bill! for dishwasher parts and accessories

I bought a house with a chimney from an old stove so it had to be covered. Exactly. When the wind blows you can still smell the faint ash and smoke from the many precious fires, but don't expect them to be airtight. Soot doesn't penetrate, and that's the most important thing.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Easy install - just what we needed

This was used to cover the vent on an old gas heater that was removed when the house was sold. It blended in well with the wall, had a low profile, was easy to install and easy to remove if someone bought a new gas heater. It looked flimsy at first, but for the price and features it was perfect.

Pros
  • Ease of Use
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Not recommended

Fits in the hole but the metal bars aren't enough to hold it. Had to use 2 bottles of caulk and tape to put it in there long enough to seal. It kept falling off, so I had to look for other solutions. The inside edge is very thin so I had to apply glue to make the ridge big enough to attach to something. Super disappointing. I didn't choose 1 star because others might like it better. I found this very annoying and too difficult.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

This will definitely stop the chimney!

This works great. It has a nice finish and is large enough to completely cover the hole and loose grout. It has a piece of bendable metal on the back to attach it to the chimney, which is a little different from the spring-loaded type I've seen before, but works great as long as you don't bend it too much. It's admittedly a bit bland, so we used acrylic paint to add a cute design to match the decor of our Minnesota sea cabin (see photo of the decorated chimney).

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Okay but it worked for an 8 inch chimney.

My wife bought this for an 8" chimney but the tension arms on the back were too short to put pressure on the inside of the pipe. I ended up making a ring out of scrap aluminum and attaching it to the back, effectively turning it into a T-cap, which is basically what we should have gotten in the first place. This is a very attractive product. And as a rule, it does not affect the product due to a wrong decision on our part. But the description says it's for 6" or 8" tubes.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Volume
