This stuff is no good

Used this to fix a broken firewall. Let it dry twice as long as the documentation requires. The first fire product bulged. If you come into contact with it, large pieces will flake off.

Pros
  • Big selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

Ideal for leaking exhaust manifolds!

I saw a few posts online saying this stuff can fix exhaust manifold leaks so I bought this to fix a leaking manifold on my 9 year old Toyota. I smeared it around the rim of the manifold where it meets the engine block and let it sit for 12 hours. Then, to "bake” it, he started the engine for 2 minutes, turned it off and sat for another 6 hours. It worked great, no more exhaust click!

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Terrible for fireplaces

I should give this one star but it barely works so I'll give it two. I used this on a pre-made mantel. There was a noticeable crack on the bottom plate and while it was still safe to use they wanted to avoid any risk and covered the bottom with this cement. I bought 3 tubs (although I only needed 1). After the first application everything looked great. It adheres well to brick and siding and applies very smoothly. I let it dry for 20 hours and then tried a propane torch. Maybe it was too…

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some flaws
