Great fan for the price

I live in a caravan and needed to replace the 12v fan for the roof vent and oven vent. With a little modification I was able to get the fan to work for me. The van is a bit noisy but not unbearable. For the price I can't complain.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Nothing here

Too weak for a car!

This fan is too thin (fins) and doesn't move air at all, I wouldn't recommend it for automotive applications as it overheats my car. The airflow is ridiculously small compared to a 30 year old original Porsche 924, the original fan has at least 20x more airflow and no I'm not kidding!

  • Confident
Cons
  • Weak

Took exactly a year and disassembly shows why - built to failure

sticks a year later and no longer works. the sound crunches when turning, as already mentioned, the plastic closures are also very fragile. well, that explains it! The engine is just glued and was about to be peeled off. Inside full of metal filings. ground down by more than a millimeter. Very poor choice of design/materials - this thing is doomed, be careful

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • unreliable

Honda EX 5500 alternator Ready for the long run

I ordered 1 fan, the 1st and the 2nd, later about 4 days later and Maxon supplied both with the earliest first order date. Due to Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, the generators ran very long hours and days (90 days) and cooling was mandatory for all engine types. Also support helped me reconfigure the puller to a push rod and it fits perfectly on my water cooled Honda EX5500. Generator. Put ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for delivery time and email support. The fan is just perfect for my needs

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Everything ok

Airflow is easily reversed

Haven't installed it yet so don't know about its durability (hence only 4 stars) but I'm impressed with the build quality. On the bench it runs smoothly and moves a lot of air. It comes in a "pull" configuration - I'll be using it as an exhaust fan, so I need it to supply air instead. The rotation of the motor is easily reversed by swapping the wires, but the curved blades are optimized for airflow in only one direction, requiring the blade assembly to be removed and flipped as well. All you…

Additional radiator fan for my 1996 Chevy Blazer

I live in Florida so it gets hot sometimes. By hot I mean mid to late 90's. I converted the radiator fan from manual to electric. one of these seemed very suitable to me for any landfill application six years ago. The change worked great. This year. However. Sitting idle and stuck in traffic. The temperature arrow reached 210, even slightly higher in places. This fan, which I control with a toggle switch, pulls in enough air to bring the time below the 210 mark, feels very solid and seems well…

A good puller, not exactly a pusher.

Almost all conventional fans sold at Revain use the same motor, the only difference between them seems to be the shape of the blades, the color and the accessories (and price) supplied . I have two exactly the same fans with curved blades, I've tried them both as a push and as a pull. As a thrust fan it doesn't really move much air, it has a big dead zone in the middle. Fan and mediocrity flow around the rest. It works much better than a puller, much less dead zone in the middle and moves a lot

Pros
  • Very good value for money
