To reiterate what others have said and what works for me on Windows 10 after installing an activated T-Mobile SIM: - Plug in the drive - Install the included cricket software. Perfect for Project Fi - it really is as simple as pulling out the supplied prepaid SIM card and inserting the Fi Data SIM card. This dongle works with Fi using the included Cricket software (you can even specify a new connection page on the Project Fi website so you can check your data usage every time you connect). Raspberry Pi successfully configured to connect to T-Mobile via ppp0, replacing the old T-Mobile Jet 2.0. Definitely faster than the old HSPA+ modem.
