WORKS WITH T-MOBILE TABLET SIM!

This is absolutely what I need since I moved to the woods. I have a T-mobile, I bought a sim card from ebay and was able to register this sim card as a tablet line as it has unlimited data compared to the more expensive hotspot line. I've tried unlocked devices and dedicated T-Mobile hotspots with my line of tablets with no success. It worked out of the box with no fuss. This product is a must have for those who want to save a few bucks without paying for rural internet. This has reception as…

Good backup solution for ASUS WAN router

So far on a test day this device works great for what I needed it for.1. Works great on TMOBILE LTE. I only get 5MB with it, but the connection to my location isn't great.2. In my ASUS router (RT-AC3200-Merlin FW) it mostly works well for WAN backup. That's why I really wanted this device. ASUS picks it up and requires little to no setup to get up and running out of the box. Fails quite successfully, I had at least one error where I had to reboot the router, but it worked every other time. As…

Cheap LTE modem for T-Mobile

Works! Although the documentation and drivers are somewhat lacking. To reiterate what others have said and what works for me on Windows 10 after installing an activated T-Mobile SIM: - Plug in the drive - Install the included cricket software. If you don't use Cricket you just need the driver, but I haven't found an easy way to just get the driver from a trusted source. - Reboot and reconnect the drive - this step may not be necessary, but it won't hurt. - The cricket software will appear…

Works on my Raspberry PI and Mint Mobile SIM - very happy

I have a Raspberry PI 3B (running Raspbian Stretch). I have it tethered to an iPhone 6 via USB/hotspot using a Mint Mobile SIM card. This setup worked great, but I only tethered the iPhone for RPI and had to reboot the iPhone every now and then (actually it didn't happen that often, maybe once every 5 weeks). I set up the RPI as a WIFI hotspot for a security camera in a remote location where there is no internet other than what is provided via the iPhone and the data plan I had there. So the…

Perfect for Project Fi

Perfect for Project Fi - it really is as simple as pulling out the supplied prepaid SIM card and inserting the Fi Data SIM card. This dongle works with Fi using the included Cricket software (you can even specify a new connection page on the Project Fi website so you can check your data usage every time you connect). The hardest part of the setup is working with the Fi Nano SIM card. According to Fi support, a full-size SIM card is not available. I would recommend an "nSIM-to-SIM" adapter but…

Works with Raspbian

Raspberry Pi successfully configured to connect to T-Mobile via ppp0, replacing the old T-Mobile Jet 2.0. Definitely faster than the old HSPA+ modem. The wwan0 interface appears when the modem is connected, but I couldn't get it to work with T-Mobile, which is a shame as it would be faster than ppp0. So four stars, not five. If I find a way I will revisit this review. Update: I was able to use the Raspbian qmi-network software to connect to T-Mobile via the wwan0 modem interface. I am very…
