Best Value in the Paper & Plastic Category

I don't care about cardboard straws, they're biodegradable and last much better, the cardboard never makes it to the end of the drink before collapsing

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Sturdy but small in girth not as pictured

Great as an alternative to plastic and durable but this particular product does not have as much girth as shown in the pictures. The same length but smaller than a regular straw. You didn't tell.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Expensive

Terrible packaging on straws

Acceptable quality straws, about the thickness of a regular plastic straw. They keep well in a drink. However, I was very dissatisfied with the packaging. They were all in a thin plastic bag with lots of holes in the bag. So who knows when those holes were made and what all those straws touched on the way to my house.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons

And I hate the feel of metal straws and I don't think they'll ever be completely clean. Silicone straws taste weird and are too thick. I'm picky, okay? BUT THESE. You are perfect. Basically the feel of a plastic straw - solid, thin. And you can throw it away knowing it's fully biodegradable. I don't use straws every day so it's worth investing in a large pack of…

As close as possible.

I own a restaurant and have been looking for a decent straw for over a decade as we don't use plastic. I've used metal, aardvark paper, and hay, but nothing gave the flavor people are craving. A friend gave me some of these for Christmas and I LOVED them at the time. (First thing I did was throw one in a glass of water for a few days, no problem). Many biodegradable plastic corn straws are currently available, but they must be composted under very specific conditions. In the wild, they would…
