Bought this brush in October 2019, now January 2021. The brush is still holding up! The bristles are not broken, do not smell. What I love most is that there is no plastic! I try very hard to look for plastic free products and this is amazing!

I switched to this type of toilet brush to save the environment. No plastic! First I tried a different brush. This brush kept falling off, even when just hanging. This brush does NOT shed, cleans the toilet thoroughly, is easy to use and looks good. I couldn't be happier.

The cleaning head was not secure and jumped out of the handle on first use. Useless. The cleaning head appears to be attached to holes in the handle with two short turns of stiff wire, with no glue or other adhesive. It couldn't even stand two or three moderate strokes around the edge before the brush head broke off and ended up floating in the bowl. I'm sure it's possible to make a decent plastic-free toilet brush; this one is not that one.

I am not very happy with the packaging as it ended up being sent to me with a plastic bag. I don't know why they had to put a plastic bag over it. The whole point of buying this renewable, eco-friendly product is to avoid buying plastic and supporting waste packaging. So two thumbs down for the packaging. I ordered one and was so excited that I got another one for our guest bathroom. The handle is longer than normal toilet brushes and the wood feels good in the hand. The way they are bound very well cleans the intestines without much effort. I used the included cute hook to hang it on the toilet and it stays in place. I like the shape of the brush and that the materials used are not plastic; However, after the first use, the wooden handle becomes sticky for some reason. I don't know why as I don't use chemicals and the brush freezes after each use. Also, the included hanging tab is made of plastic, doesn't come with adhesive, and doesn't come with instructions for use. I ordered one, used it once and loved it so much I ordered two more.
