UPF 50+ Girls Long Sleeve Sunsuit - SwimZip (Multiple Colors) Review

We love the SwimZip Little Girl Long Sleeve Sunsuit! I bought it for a trip in February to Hawaii. Our daughter was 7 months at the time and she is in the 25%, so she's on the smaller side. This is the absolute best baby swim suit! I bought this for our third baby and wish it had been around for the other two. It is a nice material that feels like it will last well. It's a little thick on a hot day, but she's comfortable as long as she gets wet in the pool or lake. I love how the zipper goes all the way down the leg so I don't have to peel it off of her when it's wet. And I love the coverage so i don't have to plaster her with sunscreen. This suit is amazing! Saves us from having to constantly reapply sunscreen on a squirmy 18 mo old. After being soaked for a while, the suit does seem to be less effective so I apply sunscreen if I expect to be out for several hours in the sun and water. I bought two suits in orange and navy with white polka dots. They were both in 2T but fit a little differently: orange is definitely large and the blue was a slimmer/smaller fit. My kid is 18 mo, 24lbs, and 30in.

This was an unexpectedly great purchase. I was honesty skeptical of buying this product, particularly since it’s going to be protecting my 5 month old baby from the sun. However, I could not be more satisfied. The suit is adorable (I also purchased the matching sun hat) and it protected my little girl throughout her first beach day.

Works great and keeps my 4 month old covered neck to ankles! I love the long sleeves especially. Makes me feel comfortable taking my baby to the beach and pool. I ordered the 6-12 month size for my 4 month old (15lbs) so I was expecting it to fit a big my big but I didn't want to have to buy another one in a month so I can deal with it being a big baggy.

Easy to put on and take off when wet. Baby still got sand inside through the neck hole but was very comfy out in the sun and sitting on the sand. Would work well with swim diapers inside and vinyl pants outside if needed for pools.

Absolutely love these! They are the best sunsuits ever. Great materials and very durable, wash well and the best feature perhaps is the full up zipper for easy diaper changes, potty trips etc! I ordered two for each child. Can’t imagune wearing anything else! Love the full body sun protection. A bit on the pricey side, but honestly so worth it!

I had my daughter in a UV skinz suit for two years and it worked great and has held up quite well, but she physically outgrew it. I tried the Swimzip in a 2T for my 2 year old who is tall and broad shoulders. The 2t Swimzip is long enough you can't see her feet or hands but also so loose that you can't roll the cuffs and have them stay up. Also loose around feet makes me worry about her tripping. Adorable navy with blue polka dots, and the ruffle cuffs and ankles are so sweet! Loved it so much that I have bought it two seasons in a row. There is no better way to keep baby protected from the sun -- it saves the effort of applying loads of sunscreen.

Love this suit! It is a little heavy for summer, but worked perfectly to cover my ginger baby's skin. My daughter is too young for sunscreen so this suit and a hat worked great. I'd unzip it in the shade and take her arms out like a surfer to keep her cool. Otherwise great for blocking sun!
