Great Tips: my feedback

Bought two of these to replace the chrome ones on my Jeep Trailhawk that were rusting after a year in Michigan. Seems to be good quality powder coat job, on some solid double walled exhaust tips. I did ceramic coat them for extra protection before having them welding on. Hopefully, these will stand up to the harsh Michigan winters/excessive road salt, but for now they seem to be a very good quality and look great!

Pros
  • Very high quality but not shiny like the pic they are dull finish more satin than anything
Cons
  • The stainless steel material may not match the color or finish of the existing exhaust system

Slow ship, larger than spec size.

So after the first ordered set was never delivered, the second set finally arrived after a week. Seems to be of a good quality stainless steel, but only time will tell. Size? Well, the specs say ID of 2.25. They’re more like 2.5+. We had to create a collar for them in order to fit them to exhaust pipe of 2.25. Whomever is in charge of shipping needs to be better at it.

Update: NOT Powder Coated. Stay away

Black painted, NOT powder coated. Comes as a pair. Paint did not stay black even for 500mi of use. Tips looked good until they turned hazy, dull and paint began to flake. Will NOT recommend.Update as of 4/22/21:These tips have reverted to their "polished" look. Most definitely NOT powder coated. They are not top quality, I will have to paint after cleaning and sanding in order to make black again. About 5k miles of use on these and they didn't stay black at all. Will cost me more to upkeep and…

Wrong Size.: my feedback

I ordered a 2 1/2in inlet and i got a 2in inlet instead. Now i have to buy adapters to get them put on my car. The rolled angle cut design may not be aesthetically pleasing to everyone.

The look is great on my SRT8 Grand Cherokee and had them installed .

Just took about 30 minutes to weld on by my muffler shop.The look is great on my SRT8 Grand Cherokee and had them installed with angle down not up as shown.Sound as good or better than original.

Pros
  • Looks Great and made it to Honolulu without any scratches, like the other one I bought before.
Cons
  • The larger sizes (12 and 18 inches) may be too long and appear disproportionate on smaller vehicles

Look great installed

Heavy, solid construction. Not thin, cheap tips. Had a shop install them on my CTS-V when I had the mufflers removed. The look great. Was well packaged when shipped.
