It's time for a new version release, Korkers!

Korkers is normally a really great product line, but somehow, these archaic soles got overlooked. They just do not hold up only lasting through one or two good fishing trips, if you are lucky. They just do not hold up at all. Your ankles will be killing you! They provide no support, no stability - just slipping & sliding everywhere. I'm not sure why it is taking Korkers so long to rework this product, but it is LONG OVERDUE!

Pros
  • Fit just right
Cons
  • The Korkers OmniTrax V3.0 Interchangeable Sole can be expensive to purchase, making it a less accessible option for consumers on a tight budget

Expected more for my opinion

I’ve used my korkers with felt bottoms for a few years, thought I’d try the rubber Klingon-on. Sole is pretty thin & the rubber is cheap. Grip on dry granite is horrible, wet is worse. My hope is the rubber will break in & gain some grip. Right now these are down right dangerous in technical situations if I have to scramble to get to the river or at rivers edge on large free stone boulders I have to be extremely careful… I expected more performance from these, I may just be going back to felt…

Pros
  • Great, versatile, comfortable wading boot system
Cons
  • The sole may not provide the same level of support as more specialized footwear options, such as trail running shoes or snow boots

ZERO traction in the river

These soles are ok for hiking easy trails to and from the river. They absolutely DO NOT grip on any sort of wet rocks or logs (in the river or out of it). I've had better traction wearing old running shoes. I may try the studded vibram soles next, but for now I'll stick with felt.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The interchangeable soles can be more difficult to clean and maintain than traditional shoe soles

Product good. No returns.

I love the Korkers interchangeable soles. They are a great product and really stretch the life of good special use boots. However I would not buy from this company.revain lets you take something to UPS and have it send. This company does not give me that code. I have to buy a printer to return an item. I will never buy from them again and recommend you do not either.

Pros
  • Excellent perfect fit very durable exactly as advertised
Cons
  • The Korkers OmniTrax V3.0 Interchangeable Sole may not be compatible with all types of footwear, limiting its overall usefulness

Not for river! on my review.

If you buy these for the river your a damn fool! Don't do it! get the felt or spiked ones. These came with my boots and I would not use these anywhere near wet rocks. It was absolutely horrible trying to fish in these.I was told today at my local fishing store that these soles are for hiking or walking only.

Pros
  • Well made insoles, easy to insert.
Cons
  • The Kling-On technology can wear down quickly, shortening the lifespan of the product and requiring frequent replacement

Great, easy option to not buying new shoes

It's a great advantage to just replace the soles of a comfortable pair of wading boots than to have to replace the entire shoe. Easy off, easy on and interchangeable depending on the environment.

Pros
  • Replaced old soles with new ones and had no problems, seamless change over
Cons
  • Some users may find that the sole adds unnecessary weight to their shoes and makes them uncomfortable

Garbage soles! Not recommended!

Soles are VERY slick in the river. The rubber also started chipping off after a few trips. So they are not very durable AND the leave bits of rubber all over the river and trail. Since these came with my boots, I'll just toss them and get some of the Vibram Idrogrip soles and hopefully they'll be better.

Pros
  • They work great
Cons
  • The design of the shoe can be clunky and heavy, making it less suitable for more active lifestyles
