Upgraded Refrigerator Thermometer Wireless Temperature Review

Dry-aged Whole Rib USDA Prime Beef (cut in two with Umai Dry Bags). I use a Brifit thermometer to monitor the temperature in my mini fridge with alarm to make sure it doesn't go above (or below) a food safe temperature. I also use it in combination with several combined hygro/thermometers and another standalone thermometer.

This is the second device I have bought. The first was about $7.00 cheaper, but one of the transmitters never worked or transmitted from my chest freezer, which is 20 feet from where I was trying to find the receiver. In this location, the device must also transmit through 2 walls. This block works great in the same spot. It's easier to set alarms and seems like a nicer device in every way. Very happy with this product.

I have used this to wirelessly monitor my two freezers running at 0 degrees plus or minus two degrees. My first block randomly fluctuated between -20 and 20 degrees, my second block (I was hoping mine was just bad so I got her to trade it) randomly between -15 and 12 degrees or something. I have a small freezer in my basement. It's over 10 years old and I check it often to make sure it's not broken or I lose everything. This block is great. I put a sensor in this freezer and one in my kitchen and set the high and low limits. The base unit has magnets and I placed it outside the kitchen. UPDATE: 12/10/2020 BUYER WARNING: SENSOR IS NOT WORKING, NO ALARM OR INDICATION. IT JUST DONE.
