Ideal for Tablets/Chromebooks/TVs

This is a great little adapter for Chromebooks, tablets, small laptops and even TVs with a limited USB port. pretty much everything I own, from a tablet to a TV and broadcasting images from my drone. I love that the cable is sturdy, twice the thickness of some of the cheaper ones. No need to mess around with those pesky adapters. Good product!

Lost connection to PC - hangs during file transfer

I have a new PC with decent specs for 4K editing and this USB reader keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to the PC. To make matters worse, removing the card sometimes rebooted my computer (yes, I removed the card using the software beforehand). Another problem when transferring files was that the transfer rate seemed to be high and then stalled for 10-60 seconds without transferring - weird, almost like it was running ahead of the hard drive with the XQD card. False advertising. Two USB ports do not provide USB 3.0 speed

BAD! The two USB ports are connected to a USB 2.1 hub and do not deliver USB 3.0 speeds. So while they're blue and labeled as USB 3.0, which may be true, they're connected to an internal USB 2.1 hub in the device, so they can only deliver 480Mbps USB 2.1 speeds. You don't get the USB 3.0 5Gb/s speeds you would expect. So if you plug in a USB flash drive or USB external hard drive, you are only limited to 480Mbps and cannot use the full potential performance of your USB device. Good. The memory…

Good data transfer speed but interferes with wireless mouse on shared USB-C hub

And on the other hand, with no additional setup and right out of the box, I got 150MB on a second (not megabit) transfer rate from my XQD -Map. Not record speed, but solid and much faster than USB 2.0, and so many transfer rates for readers - pure imagination. 4 stars, that's the most important thing.
