Works great with DVI-HDMI adapters

I was worried about features and quality but everything worked great. I use it to switch from Surface Studio 2 to dual external monitors and it works flawlessly.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Useless features

USB device not recognized

This is all I get when I try to use the device from a new HP laptop with i7 processor connected to 22 inch Dell monitors is. I removed and reinstalled all USB drivers. I have also followed many YouTube troubleshooters. It doesn't work at all.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Annoying

THAT DOES NOT WORK! WASTE OF MONEY!

Need a dual monitor desktop splitter but only one displayport connector on the computer. Both monitor cables plugged into this adapter, USB end to computer and monitor says DP cable not found. useless waste of money! Still with a monitor! Need a working splitter!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some small things

Works with Surface Go 2

Works exactly as advertised, no drivers required. I was a little concerned that there might be an issue with my Microsoft Surface Go 2 Intel m3 model. The Go 2 does not support Thunderbolt 3, but it supports Display Port Alternate Mode, which allows you to use 2 external monitors and the device itself, so 3 in total.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Doubtful

Works for me, both Linux (Fedora) and Windows 10

I just bought a Thinkpad X13 with a 6-core AMD chip. While Lenovo says it will support preinstalled Linux on all of these laptops, that hasn't happened yet. So I downloaded the latest version of Fedora and assumed there was a 50/50 chance that the product would work. I've had success - I was able to run two 34-inch Dell monitors at 4,000,000 resolutions*.* If I paid $100 more for each monitor, they would allow USB-C input and I would do not need this product.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Short instructions

Works perfectly. Best in Computer Accessories & Peripherals

This was my first comment: I can't get it to work on my two 24" Dell monitors from my Dell Latitude 7280. Just works. He selects only one in addition to the laptop's display. Cannot be configured. Of course it could be my graphics card or driver, hence 3 and not 1 star. Then I tried again to set the first duplicate desktop to 2 and 3 (Couldn't see extension to 2 and 3 which was the problem). This opened the "Extend desktop to 2 and 3" option and it worked great. So - 5 stars.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

works on Intel NUC8i7BEH! even through a Thunderbolt dock

I haven't seen much information about my situation so thought I'd post it to help anyone looking for a solution. I bought this to get dual DisplayPort from a single Thunderbolt3/USB-C port on a NUC. I have a nice dual display TB3 dock that works fine with a MacBook Pro and other Windows based laptops, but for some reason only one monitor works with the NUC over Thunderbolt. Luckily the TB3 dock has an extra TB3 connector for testing and it works fine, allowing me to use the dock with this…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

ONLY for DisplayPort, works great

This adapter works great! I have connected an Inspiron 7577 to this adapter and it allows me to use the laptop display along with my Dell U3011 at 2560 x 1600 and HP E231i at 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz on all displays. Get this one, if you're doing something like this at 60Hz don't pay double the price for this StarTech. The device does get a little warm after some use, but that's a given. I'll see how this adapter performs over the next few months. For the most part, any craziness can be aimed…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
