    Ahhh my review

    Pros: The coat is warm, waterproof and fits well but runs small. The hood is detachable which is nice. Cons: There is no velcro at the neck and I had to buy one to sew it on. A return was not possible because there was no replacement for me. The zipper broke and we've only had it for 2 months. The right pocket wasn't even sewn up and had to be patched again. I will not buy this coat again, nor will I buy from the manufacturer. It's ok for now because I don't want to bother with returns and it's

    Poorly designed zipper

    The jacket was a little big for my 2 year old. I can live with it. The zipper broke, it started to loosen, my sons are wearing it for the fifth time. It's very badly done. The zipper actually broke today after 2 months. I am very disappointed and will not order from this brand again.

    Not too bulky down jacket

    The coat is a bit thin for a down jacket, as mentioned, but the material is durable and warm to the touch. My sons are 5t so I have a 5/6 and it goes well with the sweatshirt underneath. It also looks beautiful.

    Be careful with their size chart

    This is a high quality jacket. I would leave it if it would suit my son. We buy them in winter on sale for next winter. By then it should be a 7/8 size. He put it on and it's basically a 5/6 jacket. He's almost outgrown it now and will definitely outgrow it by next winter. The product itself is beautiful. Looks like a quality jacket but make sure you go up a size.

    Small, not the warmest, but nice

    This is a very nice coat, but I can't say that it is suitable for a long stay on the road. In addition, the coat is one size smaller than the size actually ordered. I ended up receiving this coat with a broken top button. Considering I only spent $17 on it for the Black Friday sale and it also has a zip and hood closure, I won't be bothering about a return. I do not think so.

    The size is far from it. Much smaller than the size of the state.

    Bought this for my son on a lightning sale. He is 5 years old, average height. I bought a size 7 so we can wear it and live maybe 2 years. nope It fits him like a size 5. Too small.

    Small but good for Texas weather

    i like the jacket It's nice and warm for Texas weather. My son is very skinny and quite tall so I bought size 4T even though he is almost 3 years old. It fits great. I'm still considering returning it for a larger size. He hasn't worn it (just tried it on) but it's a good quality jacket with a good hood.

    Wish the sizes were more correct

    I like the quality but I ordered 5/6 for my 4 year old (he just turned 4) and it's a bit small but I decided to keep it for my youngest son anyway

    Love the quality - my new review

    I liked the quality, it's been holding up well for a year now. Warm enough for an Oregon winter (temperate, not freezing) and very nice. Easy to put on and fasten, my son can do it himself. Love the Urban Republic jackets for him overall, they are stylish and great value for something kids outgrow quickly. The styles remind me of BabyGap but a lot cheaper.

    Good jacket for my rating.

    It's very light but seems to keep my 5 year old warm! Looks like a very expensive jacket! He loves the lining around his neck as it keeps his neck warm too! Pairs well with sweaters for extra warmth. We haven't tested it in very harsh weather conditions, but it works great in 30 degrees and more!

    I will not buy this brand again!

    The size is listed as a 7 but looks more like a 4. Also the top button is broken off. Very disappointed and no packing list so I guess I can't return.

    Nice heavy jacket. No heavy coat.

    Thought it would be a little harder. It's heavier than a jacket, but not a heavy coat. But it is VERY cute! My son loves this. He's a 3T and he's a little tight, unfortunately he only made one season. But the arm length is perfect at the moment.

    Wonderful coat for the price I paid!

    I bought this coat during Black Friday 2014 for $17! And man, I wish I'd bought both colors. This coat is quite thin for a down jacket, but it's made of durable material and is a pretty nice gray color. I have enough room to put it over it which was a problem with my son's Oshkosh coat. He is 4T and the coat is too tight. I bought it in size 4 and it was perfect.

    Good coat but not for very cold weather

    I am happy with this jacket, especially for the price. We bought the 4T and it fits well, although the hood feels a little big for the size and keeps slipping off our son's head despite the velcro closure in the front. It's a little thinner than I expected. This is not a heavy winter down jacket. It's great for temperatures around 40F, but I wouldn't ship my son much colder in this jacket. Pleased with build quality and fit.
