Wow, one of the worst things I've ever bought.

I am very disappointed with this purchase. Let's start with the box it was sent in, it was dirty and torn, probably a return. Also, the article itself was terrible. Basically I bought this because the picture descriptions show that it moves fully vertically (90 degrees) which is what I wanted for my pastel - it is NOT, there is still a lot of backward tilt. But that's not all - no matter what surface I put it on, it swings back and forth like crazy, so it's very unstable for painting. Theโ€ฆ

Beautiful easel

Well made, great price. Just a warning: no instructions. The easel is shipped with the front (the longest stick and the rail holding the canvas down) mounted upside down for shipping. This piece must be removed and turned over before attempting to lift the easel. At first I didn't do that and I noticed that I was very strenuous with the work. If I had pulled harder it might have broken. I have a lot of wood glue so it wouldn't be a big deal but I'm glad I noticed before it broke. After flipping

This desk easel is so wonderful, I will try to help you and tell a little story. I drew and was an avid artist when I was younger, but the responsibilities of motherhood and the simple life made me too impatient to enjoy my hobby and slowed me down enough to get it right. After becoming disabled 8 years ago I thought I'd try painting again, I bought a big easel, it was uncomfortable, I couldn't stand long enough to do anything and I still felt that I was in a hurry, so I stopped again. .
