Bought these headlights off Amazon just last week and recently installed them. Looks great, the only thing I had trouble with was getting the old lantern out as it's in a hard-to-reach spot, but that's ok, just took a little longer. Easy installation, I didn't have to remove anything but the old headlights. I used one of those medicinal things, I think it's a pair of tweezers, as they call it. There are three connection points on each headlight: two clips at the top and one with clips outside at the bottom. I easily removed the brackets and was able to reuse them. The hardest part was removing the bottom part of the passenger side, I was able to reach with a pair of pliers and press on the tabs just enough to pull it out…

Fast and easy replacement. The front of my 1999 F250 looks almost new. Took me 30 minutes to replace both lightbulbs. I also bought replacement retaining clips and a curved awl as suggested by others. The curved awl was the perfect tool for removing the retaining clips. I was still bending the clips, removing them and dropping one. Having new clips made things easier, but it's not necessary if you're careful. I was not interested in the instructions for this product. Luckily I have a full OEM repair manual, although it's not much better. After removing the headlights after breaking a couple of headlight clips, the new headlights fit perfectly. I suggest you buy extra headlight clips and clip removing pliers. Very easy to swap out, looks great and makes a great addition to the truck. However, be sure to buy yellow headlights for the lower body. The stem is clean and you need a tinted bulb.
