I love how easy these straps are to use. They have thought of almost everything for ease of use. Even S-hooks have clips that keep them in place while you secure the load. The soap bar is smooth and non-abrasive. The variety of uses is amazing, the kit even includes straps to attach to my Harley's handlebars to secure it to the deck of a trailer or truck. I ordered these after driving my RZR 1000 4 XP home from the desert and losing two yellow cargo tie down straps. It's most likely my fault for not tightening them tight enough. They had no safety clips on the hooks. As the RZR's suspension shrank as I drove over a rough road, the hooks disengaged from the trailer hooks and the straps came loose and landed on the road. I bought two sets of these straps. A set works fine. Not in the other set. The problem with the second set is that the take-up spool cannot rotate freely in the ratchet housing when released. This makes it extremely difficult to loosen and remove the belt from the pulley. Inspection of the metal frame showed that the take-up spool holes were misaligned or too small. I contacted RHINO by phone. I only have one answering machine. I left a detailed message and my phone number. Never heard of them.
