Great remote control, wish they could customize the shortcut keys. I don't use crackle, xyumo or iheart. I would prefer Amazon.

I hate these remotes, they break sooo easily. I had it for a week, it fell off the couch and broke. I like the slim design, but I also thought my remote control options would be different because I chose one with different button photos - it wasn't the case.

It wasn't what I needed but it saves me time on a monotonous process! I use Hulu on my smart TV to watch the news, but there was no shortcut button on the remote. After turning on the TV, I had a decent scrolling and sign-in loop to get to Hulu via the menu. The back/battery cover is thin and doesn't like it. Those modern snap-on lids suck - they don't hold up well after a while. I wish they would go back to lids that had a push button or a push tab to open the lid. However, if your alternative is a universal remote that always requires you to set how many things work, then this will do.

It doesn't appear from the listing but it is a Vizio remote that has been distributed to existing Vizio Smartcast TV owners since 2016. It may also have come with other televisions. It's identical to the one Vizio sent me last year when they revamped the 2016 M Series to include access to streaming apps right from the TV (not just a phone or tablet). The one I received oddly had a "remote control" sticker covering the Vizio logo on the remote itself. Needless to say it works great with my 22016

Excellent. Many months ago my Vizio TV had a major firmware update and the SmartCast window kept popping up asking me to accept the new policies. Unfortunately, the remote control that came with the TV didn't have the buttons needed to 'arrow', select the 'Accept' button and continue.
