Works great, plug and play on surface pro 4, nice quality and modern design

Exactly as described, plug and play on my surface pro 4 which only has a USB port so this is a really necessary one Accessory if you are going to use a similar device to connect multiple USB devices. I've used it to connect a mouse, Ethernet to USB adapter, and external hard drive. All are connected through this hub! I noticed that it only takes a quick press of the appropriate button to turn on the power for each port, but to turn them off you have to hold the button down for a few seconds…

Long cable and everything works!

Finally! A USB 3 hub that not only has a cable long enough to extend from my rear USB port, it actually works! I've had others that either have a very short cable or don't work at USB 3 speed or at all. This is the first that has not disappointed me. I tested it by running a benchmark test on a USB 3 flash drive both in a hub and plugged directly into the computer's USB 3 port. There was no drop in performance when using the HUB. If I ever need another USB 3 hub I will buy another one of these.

It's nice when it works.

Worked well the first day. The second day it didn't start. Connected to a different USB port, everything worked. I tested this "non-working" USB port with other powered USB hubs, it worked as usual. Something is wrong with this Tendak USB hub. On the third day it wouldn't turn on, even when I plugged it into a third USB port. returned. I gave it 2 stars because it worked well when it worked. Update: 8/19/17 The manufacturer emailed me to send me a replacement to test again. I'm only willing to…

something was installed on macPro 3.1, OS El Capitan. The PCIe USB3.0 card works with all USB drives that are directly connected to the card. Power this thing on and it won't work. DOA. Disks are not displayed. Neither for a spinning disk, nor for a flash drive. Yes, I enabled the port so that it glows with a blue LED. USB 3.0 hub with power supply and long enough cable and USB connector for charging

There's not much romance about a USB 3.0 hub, but there are a few very good points. First, the USB cable connected to the computer is a good length so you can remove the hub (I have a laptop and keep the hub behind the screen). Second, power switches for different ports are a useful feature. Something you don't need, but something you can appreciate when you have it.
