This Raspberry Pi Hub HAT provides more USB capability to your Pi, plus a RJ45 Ethernet port, which is great when you need a stable wired Ethernet connection.(Ethernet / USB HUB HAT for Raspberry Pi, 1x RJ45 Ethernet Port, 3x USB Ports). It can work with various versions of the Pi( Raspberry Pi B+ / 2B / 3B / 3B+ /4B/ Zero / Zero W / Zero WH),and the size of the board is designed to perfectly fit the Zero / Zero W / Zero WH. 1x RJ45 10/100M port, based on the RTL8152B Ethernet chip.;3x USB ports, compatible with USB2.0/1.1;. Onboard multi indicators, for monitoring the status of power, Ethernet, and each USB port.

Works as expected in Computers and Accessories

Works as expected. I'm using it with Pi Zero W to turn it into a Pihole ad blocking system for my home network. This works well for a small home network.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some issues

Easy setup and perfect form factor

Raspberry Pi Zero is powerful, affordable and small. Built-in Wi-Fi is acceptable but not up to par for speed or range. If you use Zero for network activities like Pi-Hole to block ads or provide VPN services then this is a great addition. It gets everything it needs through the USB connector, so none of the GPIO pins are blocked. It can be installed with the included standoffs without a GPIO header. Ethernet offers a real data transfer rate of 100 Mbit/s. Ookla data transfer test below…

  • Hard to say

It appears to be USB -> Ethernet hat

The product worked as advertised except I assumed the hat was powered by the hat's pins but instead powered by USB. Worked, but that means I need a USB cable if I just need another ethernet network port.

Micro USB Jumper Adapter

I received my Ethernet/USB Cap in perfect condition. However (("Jumper" Micro-USB was DOA)). Right now I'm using the included micro USB cable and micro to regular USB adapter. This works but doesn't offer an option to get an Ethernet/USB hat. I'm happy with the hat itself though. The Ethernet network port and all 3 USB ports are working properly.

Pros
  • Perfect for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Reliable, easy to use and inexpensive!

This HAT lets you connect your Raspberry Pi Zero to Ethernet without increasing the size or using a ton of power. As an added bonus, you get 3 USB ports! You can't connect 3 hubs full of devices to them, for example, but I doubt anyone would really want to do that and not yet know they need external power supplies. I have nothing to complain about.

Pros
  • Barebones Desktops
Cons
  • Something Else

I was looking for additional USB ports and an Ethernet port to make a portable media player and hotspot. I wanted a case too. I was able to use the MakerSpot case. I bought two cases and didn't use the taller pins in the first case. It's not perfect, but pretty close. The USB ports are working as advertised and the Ethernet port has not yet been used. But so far it's working fine. plug and play Exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is that I had to put together a case for this.

  • Electronics

  • No power
