    No security - spare wheel holder

    holder carries the spare wheel well. However, since most boat docks do not have parking attendants, it is very easy to remove one. I bought a lock to attach the tire to the hitch and a chain and lock to attach the hitch to the trailer. This made my total investment, not including the tire, about $100.

    This product is made of very durable material and is well made. It comes with various screws and nuts for installation in most cases. However, it's not really universal. I couldn't find a place on my trailer where it would fit. Check your trailer carefully to make sure it has enough space for installation.

    This spare wheel carrier came with no instructions, just a piece of metal and a bag of nuts and bolts. It may suit some followers, but not all. Better images of typical setups in the Revain post will help potential buyers decide if it's a good match for their trailer. Note that the shipping cost is almost the same as the cost of the item.

    5-hole pattern

    This does not correspond to the correct position of the 5-hole pattern. I have a 16 inch wheel for my cargo trailer. I drilled another hole in the panel to accommodate it. days, plan for this as delivery via Prime is not possible.

    Update Date Post On This Bracket

    I need to update my last post on this article. I pointed out in my review that the package was in very bad condition when I received it. This is true and I have contacted PMD regarding this. I got my money back for the missing parts. The service I received was quick and prompt with no waiting time. Very good service from PMD products. I've seen other reviews saying it won't fit a 5 bolt wheel. I don't know what they did, but it fits my 5-hole rim perfectly. Again, the last bad review I gave was

    It will work, but you have to make it work

    I had the right tools. I had the right screws. I knew how it works. It is NOT LIKELY to be a ready-to-use product. That was my story. The manufacturer could be more generous with holes; That said, if they just drilled two more holes in their pattern, that would be a bolt to me. I had to drill two holes in the base plate to use the maximum height for my application. I then had to turn the two backing plates upside down to line them up with the two new holes as above. All threaded rods are veryโ€ฆ
