Seems to be quite well built, fairly soft but also very light with evenly distributed but thin (that's why I bought it) padding. I use it with a cotton duvet cover over it so although it's light it's still quite warm but without the cover it was even lighter and airier. I would say even warmer than I expected. If you're looking for a very light, thin but somewhat "fluffy" comforter that will keep you relatively warm, you probably won't find anything better for $20.

Very happy with this duvet. Definitely 3 seasons, and there will be 4 seasons if you live in a place with mostly mild winters. Incredibly soft and cuddly. Now I have a wonderful cover that is perfect. It's perfect for a queen cover. If I need another one I will definitely use this one again. Overall this duvet would be a good buy. Light, slightly warmer, but suitable for all seasons. But the corner hinges are NOT strong. I may have tied the blanket I bought for him wrong, but that doesn't explain why the loops came undone so easily. The filling is right out of the corners so I have to sew the loop back or buy another blanket. It really sucks.
