Utopia Kitchen Bamboo Cutlery Knives Review

I bought this item in May. I really liked the look and functionality. However, it is now August and the slider has gone astray. I have to tape it up so it doesn't stick together since it's out my window to go back. He's in a box. So I'm not sure how he broke up just sitting there. Beautiful to look at, but not durable.

I received this item today to replace my old bamboo dish organizer. When I opened the plastic, I was immediately greeted by a rancid, acrid smell. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that small brown bugs were crawling all over it! I am an absolute DISPOSAL. I immediately threw it on the street and will return it tomorrow. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER.

I just got this yesterday so I can't comment on how easy it is to clean or how long it actually lasts, but the bamboo wood and construction seems very solid . And the pull out expandable drawers are perfect for my dish drawer. This means my stuff doesn't slide around in the drawer every time I open it. #Enough cheap plastic boxes!

Looks like REAL BAMBOO. Hurry up to buy it. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't fully stretch (both don't seem to) and it's a lot smaller than in their picture. What you see is how wide they open. After reading the reviews that they are laminated I expected the same given the cheap price. The Utopian Kitchen logo is engraved on the bottom.

I've been looking for a newer and more flexible way to organize our cutlery drawer and this has really helped us. The many compartments and the possibility to expand two external ones were very practical. It looks solid - only time will tell how it holds up, tidies up etc. The two outer trays are the only ones that expand and are about as wide as the other trays. I bought this item as a gift for my mom because she moved into this house with really weird ridiculously long kitchen drawers and she didn't have any stands for cutlery .
