Will not fit distributor and parts

This cover will not fit Ford 1996 5.8 Windsor V8 The hole in the rotor is too small and the groove in the cover is too narrow.

Wrong rotor

My 1984 Ford F150 302 V8 uses a different rotor than this kit. So basically I got a new cap and rotor for another car. Don't waste your money here. Go to Napa and get the part you need.

Pros
  • Cover and rotor kit
Cons
  • old

Don't believe it just because it stands for your car.

This was the wrong cap for my 1986 Ford Van. Rodor came, no cap, I don't know where the mistake was, on my part or on the part of the supplier. But fixing it would take a lot of work and time, so I cleaned and reused the old cover.

Cons

It's a little bigger than the original and doesn't seal or sit flush

When installed there was a noticeable gap around the mating surface and it was crooked, we had to clean the old cap and reuse it. The old one lay down slightly, as befits the cover of the distributor. It's just poorly made and completely out of reach to be useful. I will not impose this garbage there.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Big and chunky
