Carbon Fiber Not Worth the Money

This product is a waste of money. The quality is poor and doesn't hold up to industrial standards. The only good thing about it is that it's lightweight, but that's not enough to recommend it. Save your money and invest in a better brand.

Pros
  • Lightweight
Cons
  • Poor quality, not industrial grade

These are solid strong rods but just over 3mm in diameter

These are solid strong rods but over 3mm in diameter they will not fit through my 3mm ID Warehouse. Update: I used very fine sandpaper and sanded the surface of the rod down a bit. Now they work perfectly.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • I will add later

Ideal for repairing tools!

I used a pair of these bars to reinforce the trunnions on two restored mandolins! One was a Gibson A3 mandolin with a broken heel and the other was an unmarked 1930's two pronged mandolin with similar problems. It fit snugly in the pre-drilled hole and was glued in place with hot skin glue!

Pros
  • Laminate & Composites
Cons
  • Doubtful
