Faulty automotive converter: Waste of money!

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that this product is a complete waste of money. The only good thing is that it claims to be waterproof, but I wouldn't trust it in a garage or shop setting. The converter regulator transformer is faulty and doesn't work properly. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Don't waste your money on this product.

could cost you your life

I realized early on that this is repaired but not regulated. from day one. It ended up costing me a day of fishing and if I hadn't been a ship's mechanic it might have cost me my life since I was at sea when it failed.

Worked as planned on power converters

Used this converter to connect a pair of Nilight Spot Driving LED Fog Lights to my MTD Snowblower. The snowblower had an output of 18 VAC so I used a bridge rectifier which then output 15 VDC. Then this uxcell converter converted the 15vdc to a constant 12vdc and my headlights are working great! The robust outer casing feels very weather-resistant.
