Faulty Fitting Caused Major Issues

Based on our own experience, we cannot recommend this product to anyone in the industrial and scientific community. Though the price is attractive, the quality is not. We experienced several issues with the fitting within only a few days of use, and it caused significant problems in our manufacturing process. The only pro we can find is the affordability, but it's not worth the risk. The cons outweigh any potential benefits.

Fits perfectly! best in gas

When I discovered that the tank ends were removable I was able to fix the support on my treadmill. It was a fraction of the cost of a new gas cylinder and they were easy to install.

  • This is a good replacement for Ball Strut gas springs and gas springs are motion control devices used to lift, hold, balance and support applications such as horizontal hinged doors, decking, hoods and canopies.

Excellent quality, metal threads! (unlike plastic threads on others)

This is a HUGE improvement over the junk end pieces that came with the (expensive) gas springs/struts I have. They have metal female threads, while the ends that come with my gas spring have plastic female threads (which were quickly removed). Lexus GX470) and the plastic threads of the previous end fittings loosened after a short time and no longer held the strut in place. Now that I've replaced them with this kit (with metal threads), everything's great!
