Great for Accurate Measurements

We recently purchased a micrometer from this brand and have been thoroughly impressed with its accuracy. It's easy to use and gives precise readings, making it a valuable addition to our industrial and scientific equipment. However, the only downside we`ve noticed is that it can sometimes be a bit finicky to lock the measurement in place. Overall though based on our own experience, we highly recommend this product for anyone in need of reliable and precise dimensional measurement..

Pros
  • Accurate and precise measurements thanks to electronic micrometer technology
Cons
  • Requires batteries for operation

It's more than qualified

Yes, it's a cheap import with plastic parts, but electronics these days can often offer greater accuracy and consistency compared to mechanical versions. For the price this is a great item. I also went for the mechanical version and both agree. Given the low cost, I personally don't rely too much on machined (or stamped) parts. I can't say how long. Measure weight (thickness) if the skin is more than suitable.
