Like others, I bought this memory for VLP memory needs in a small form factor assembly. Unlike others, this RAM has only given me problems. V-Color was used for their production with Hynix CJR chips (very high quality modules) but the latest batches appear to be Hynix JJR chips which hardly run at the standard 2666MHz CL19 1.2V specification while others may have had success , 3600- 3800MHz, I highly doubt newer batches can hit anything over 3200MHz. Since my current kit is hardly stable on…

Easily overclocked to 3600MHz! Highly recommended!

This RAM is epic for a Ryzen SFFF build. You CAN get faster RAM, in fact I'm pulling out a G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600CL14 16GB (2x8GB) RAM (Samsung B-Die) and replacing them. I bought this RAM because I need VLP RAM which is notoriously hard to come by at good speeds. I bought this RAM and overclocked it to 3600CL18 (specifically CL18-18-21-36) with no problem. This was the first speed I tried and it loaded straight away. I haven't finished the setup yet, I had some stability issues trying out…

Good RAM in my TrueNAS

Installs this RAM in ASRock B550M Pro4 motherboard with AMD 3700x processor. The only purpose of the computer is to be a TrueNAS server. The RAM installs just like any other RAM I've installed over the years, although I was surprised at how unobtrusive it was. It's stable at standard timings, and according to memtest, it's actually ECC. I finally decided to overclock the memory and settled on a 3200MHz CL16 at 1.31 volts using the popular Ryzen memory tuning tool. Storage is currently stable…

ECC memory seems to work well with AMD 5950x

I was a little concerned as I had never heard of this brand, but it seems to work well in my new AMD 5950x build. I used 4 x 16GB sticks because with 16 cores I could run multiple VMs, databases etc. So maybe 64GB wouldn't be total overkill. Memtest 86 9.1 (not memtest 86+) shows that ECC is present and the configuration has passed memtest 4 times. I haven't tried to verify that ECC actually fixes errors, I'll just take my word for it. You can probably find faster memory, but ECC is the real…
