The best water-based paint!

I have been a model for 45 years and have used many colors and brands over the years. While priming b4, use it like any other acrylic paint. Covers perfectly without brush marks. Seal with acrylic gloss sealer. I use Mod Podge and you get a nice finish. Must buy, fast delivery, reasonable price.

Pros
  • Dream come true
Cons
  • Discontinued model

A few coats for Deep Yellow

Maybe I have an old bottle, Deep Yellow just didn't cover well after shaking and mixing. Used on a plastic model that has been primed grey. It took several coats to finally get a nice yellow color. If a white primer were used, the number of coats might be two, not more.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Zero

Too Shiny: Arts & Crafts Supplies

This is a glossy finish. flesh tone. Yes. Glossy skin looks great? Also, it's just not skin color. It's too easy. When mixing brown and red, I couldn't get the skin tone I wanted. It's just far from anything you could call "flesh," and it's a high shine that's terrible on any skin tone.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Protection

I needed paint in this color

I have a love/hate relationship with this color. It was the color I needed and I used it and I was happy with the results. I've been using Vallejo paints for several years and always with mixed results. There seems to be a mix ratio that I haven't found exactly when using this color in an airbrush. I get pretty good results when painting with a brush, but in general I'm not too happy with the results.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • something different

Can't get the right consistency.

The color was good but I can't understand the consistency. It's too thick out of the bottle and leaves brush marks. I tried diluting it with water but it doesn't work. I put a drop of it with a drop of water and it's too runny. I tried 2 drops of paint and 1 drop of water but it came out too thick. It's just weird, maybe it's just me? I think I'll stick with my regular color, which comes right out of the bottle.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Good paint but the color is not the same.

This is a good color but there is very little of it for the price and it's a little darker than the advertised skin tone or the tone I wanted. I've been looking for a nude shade for my current projects, but it's much closer to blush. This obviously comes in handy for blush, skin highlights and rosy lips, but now I have to look for another color for what I need. I added an image but the actual color is still much, MUCH darker.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
