really helps! on the outside

I bought 2 of these and I have to say they absolutely help with trailer bounce. I put one in the back and one in the front. I may buy another one to put on the slide as it's big enough to reach. I survived a night's sleep without feeling my children tossing and turning all night. I highly recommend this product to stabilize your RV.

Fantastic rear stability of our 5th bike

Just used it for the first time on our last trip. We have a 35 foot 5. Rad with a 4 berth bunkhouse to the rear. We sleep in the front and always feel the forward movement of those sleeping in the bunks. I tied and tightened this baby under the rear bumper. It literally eliminated the movement we noticed earlier. We were there for 9 days with 3 children and 1 adult. Very good buy, easy to use. Very satisfied.

Cannot install without them

Have a 26ft trailer with 1 extension. When my kids moved into their cribs, I moved into my bed and it was driving me crazy! I put a 4 inch foam pad with pillows on top of the mattress, it didn't help at all. I've done 2 camping trips with them. First on mud, then on grass. I bought 2. I first put 1 under the rear bumper and 1 under the skid. it didn't work as expected. So I pulled 1 from the foil forward behind the tongue. That's almost under the Lord's bed. Huge difference! So 1 under the…

Simple and effective stabilization solution

The perfect solution to reduce movement FAST to a very acceptable level. To be clear, there is NO WAY to eliminate 100% movement in gear unless you keep it OFF-GROUND, and it's not practical in a short-term camping situation like most of us do. But you can eliminate 98% of them. This brace does just that with your current stabilizers on your rig. Only with our standard angle stabilizers (EAZ Lift) was it annoying that they wobbled when others walked around in the rig while you were…

It works! Ordered right away!

That's why I bought this Valterra Stabilizer to try and keep the 230RS 27' Outback from wobbling so much. This works GREAT! I've already used standard scissor jacks on all 4 corners + two Ball X chocks on the tires, but it still shook when someone turned over in their bed. (The final berth is a pull-out king-size bed with solid walls - Outback - from the trailer, which looks like a pop-up at one end. At the front of the trailer, in the 'Toy Tractor' section, is a twin bed Ours so it says on the

A must for any motorhome that moves too much when stabilizing.

Works better than expected! We have a 30ft trailer and there are barely enough stabilizers. We still have significant movement throughout the trailer when walking with stabilizers deployed. I bought this item to avoid putting so much stress on the stabilizers that they would be damaged. Let me tell you this product worked! Easy to install and deploy. I put it under our rear bumper and it really put the trailer at ease. I would rate this as a "must have" for anyone with a camper with cheap screw

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Appearance

Bought 2 of these because I bent one of the rear scissor stabilizer jacks last year. They would get 5 stars if the ratchet straps were of better quality. It's ok as we have several better belt sets. Also, my mistake was not removing the rear bumper stabilizer bar before raising the jack to attach it to our tractor. This bent the lock knob from causing too much downforce. I know my mistake, but a through pin would be a nice design change, along with a few extra holes for finer height adjustment.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

I bought 2 and both came quickly with no problems. The physics behind this is correct if you have good "friction" between the top (block and trailer frame) and the bottom (feet and floor). I installed 4 manual stabilizer jacks on my trailer (29ft Aerolite), one in each corner. Factory stabilizers, when properly adjusted, prevent the trailer from "bouncing" up and down. However, the factory stabilizers allow the trailer to pivot and twist back and forth when walking or in high winds. This is the
