Valuegist Internal Mounting Bracket Adapter Computer Accessories & Peripherals Review

I've been doing my favorite thing since 2000. It cost me $169.99 at the time and I think it's beautiful. As you can see from the picture I have a retractable disc holder but the discs seem to have shrunk. This mount did it! A NOTICE. I'm ordering one for Linux. :^)

The whole point was to put the SSD in the 3.5" bay, but it's not wide enough and the holes are too small for my recording device. I crammed them in there and they work, but it wasn't as easy as it could/should have been. On the other hand, at least the screw holes on the bottom matched the SSD itself.

Although it didn't fit as expected due to my fault (I ordered the wrong product) I was able to use it to house another internal hard drive and so far so good. Easy to install and perfect for my needs. It arrived on time as described by Revain and the manufacturer, the packaging was intact and the product itself was undamaged and made from high quality materials.

Overall it's a good product but as I bought 2 and they both had the same problem I can say that. The brackets arrived slightly damaged. Not twisted, but bent down from front to back. Not a big problem, but worth nationalizing. It installed fairly well on one of my computers, but the screw holes on the Dell I used it on were too small. As it is designed for a standard 3.5" drive bay, the standard hard drive screws used for drives of this size must be used. I was able to put it in the drive cage…

Although I could attach my internal 2.5" laptop Solid State Drive (SSD) to the bracket, the bracket fits DO NOT fit into my desktop computer's 3.5-inch internal hard drive bay. Instead, the bracket, SSD and all "float" only partially secured in the drive bay. Desktop internal hard drive. I found that the screw holes on the bracket were 1mm further apart than the screw holes on the internal 3.5" hard drive. That's why the mount doesn't fit. I checked all three mounts that I ordered.
